It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Who remembers the small police siren / megaphone systems you could strap on your bike? You know, the ones that would annoy everyone else in your neighborhood for hours on end. I know I sure do as I was one of the kids riding around with it on, for hours. I was convinced I was a motorcycle cop out protecting the neighborhood. Well, that was until the movie Home Alone came out… that was a game changing movie for me when I was seven. Why pretend to protect the neighborhood when I could actually build a security system for my house! I knew my parents would be so proud of me, I mean…  what parent wouldn’t be of a kid who could fend off two of the most persistent and skilled thieves ever?!?

So, this brings us to the part of life where my parents were afraid to open any door in our house. Why? Well, that siren came off of my bike and into the home security field. Yup, I was no longer interested in being a motorcycle cop when I could be Kevin McAllister! I would build elaborate systems where opening a door involved triggering five to twenty actions that would typically result in that very alarm being triggered. Well, that or the occasional bucket of water or some other less lethal form of surprise. Yup, I was a little and darling angel. Genius angel though, don’t forget the genius aspect! That brings me to my first blog post letting you get to know a little more about who the man behind the camera really is… and in this case it comes in the form of my Top 10 Favorite Christmas Movies Ever! Live and love this list friends, it oozes holiday spirit…
