Today’s Valentine’s Day Idea comes in the form of classic romance… horse-drawn carriage rides! The Hitching Company is a fabulous way to enjoy either Minneapolis or St. Paul with someone special. Much like Arthur’s, The Hitching Company is my go to resource when needed. In fact, I just used them myself a little over a month ago for my new year’s eve date. The carriages are always classic, the horses well mannered, and the drivers are always kind, helpful, and enjoyable. The beauty of it is enjoying the city at night with the sound of the horses walking through the streets while cuddling up next to your special someone under a blanket. I recommend bringing a glass of your favorite warm beverage if you do it in the winter and hopefully you’ll have a snow storm with massive snow flakes to add to the experience like we did! Just make sure to tip that driver well if it is… it cannot be that enjoyable to sit in without cover for hours on end!
